WAKEENEY — The Trego County Health Department on Wednesday an additional death and three new cases of COVID-19 in the county.

The death of a resident at Trego Long Term Care is the third coronavirus-related death in the county.

There are currently 13 active cases of COVID-19 in Trego County, with 40 total since reporting began. The department said additional tests are pending.
