THOMAS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 7a.m. Saturday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Freightliner semi driven by Fnan Abraham Andat, 24, Dallas, Texas, was westbound on Interstate 70 three miles east of Kansas 184.
The vehicle partially entered the median, re-entered westbound lanes, crossed the westbound right shoulder and entered the westbound right ditch. Vehicle one came to rest facing southwest resting on all its tires.
EMS transported Andat to Citizens Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
