SCOTT COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 1p.m. Wednesday in Scott County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Kenworth semi driven by Maxine L. Briggs, 63, Scott City, was eastbound on Road 40 one mile east of U.S. 83. The vehicle veered off the road to the left and overturned.
EMS transported Briggs to the Scott County Hospital. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
