On average, Hays receives 3.33 inches of rain in May and 7.92 inches of moisture by the end of May.
The forecast for today is slight chance of thunderstorms with a high of 90 and a low of 61. There is a 40% to 80% chance of more thunderstorms tonight.
The chance of thunderstorms will continue all this week, with highs in the mid 80s expected.
