Ellis County Ministerial Alliance has arranged for many Ellis County churches to be open from noon to 1 p.m. (or longer) Wednesday for those who would like to pray for our community.
St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 2900 Canal Blvd., announced it will open its doors on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from noon–1:30 p.m. for a time of prayer and reflection. Pastor Ben Houchen invited anyone in the community to come during that time.
Area churches will toll their bells as we unite in prayer. At 12:15 p.m., for those who can’t be there, if you can stop what you're doing and join in a moment of prayer or silence as we unite our hearts and thoughts for our community and friends and families who are suffering so deeply.
