GOVE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 1:30p.m. Friday in Gove County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Ford Edge driven by Shannon Colleen Crawford, 58, Quinter, was westbound on Gove BB at County Road 78. The driver failed to yield at the yield sign. A southbound 1996 Ford F150 driven by Brandon Lee Mader, 50, Quinter, struck the SUV.
EMS transported Crawford to the Gove Medical Center. Mader was not injured. Crawford was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
