Fort Hays State Men's Basketball is receiving votes in the latest NABC and D2SIDA Top 25 Polls, released on Tuesday. The Tigers will face the No. 1 ranked team in NCAA Division II this Sunday when they travel to Northwest Missouri State.
The Tigers are receiving votes in the NABC poll for the second straight week. They received votes in the preseason poll and then were absent from the first regular season poll before returning to the receiving votes section in both the second and third (Nov. 29, Dec. 6) regular season editions of the poll. The Tigers made their first appearance in receiving votes section of the D2SIDA Top 25 Poll this week. FHSU is now 7-1 overall on the season, currently riding a seven-game win streak.
Defending national champion Northwest Missouri State is No. 1 in each poll and has been there all season so far, entering this week at 8-0 overall. Central Oklahoma is also among the Top 10 in both polls, holding the No. 6 ranking in the NABC Poll and the No. 8 ranking in the D2SIDA Poll. Emporia State moved up to No. 16 in the NABC Poll this week and join FHSU in the receiving votes section of the D2SIDA Poll.
