Barbara Ann Mullen, 85, passed away on Sept. 2, 2024, in Oberlin, KS. Barbara was born on June 2, 1939, to Carl and Nola (Springer) Roberson in Anaheim, CA.

Barbara was raised in Anaheim and graduated from Anaheim High School in 1956. After high school Barbara married Larry Hollars and had five children. Then later she married Tom Mullen.

She owned and ran a flower shop named Silkworm for many years. Then she moved out to Kansas where she opened a shop called “Coffee, Tea and Me.”

Barbara enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, reading, cooking, baking, and designing flowers.

Barbara is survivor by her three sons: Steven (Charlene) Hollars, Johnny (Michelle) Hollars, and Robert Hollars; five grandchildren: Larry Hollars, Donald Hollars, Shane (Kenadi) Hollars, Elizabeth (Devon) Strunk, Emily Hollars; and two great grandchildren: Larry Hollars and Archer John Strunk.

Barbara was preceded in death by husbands: Larry Benton Hollars and Tom Harry Mullen; children: Denise Renee Hollars and Larry Ronald Hollars; brother: Bill Roberson; sisters: Wanda (Fred) Hardman and Merle (Tommy) Kirkpatrick; daughter-in-law: Krystal Hollars.

Memorial services will be held on September 23, 2024, at Plumer - Gobber Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Memorial contribution may be made out to Barbara Mullen Memorial Fund. Condolence can be left at www.plumergobber.com.
