KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State Men's Soccer is among the receiving votes section of the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll for a third time this season, and second-straight week. Fort Hays State is preparing for the GAC/MIAA Tournament this week in Bethany, Okla. FHSU owns an overall record of 8-7-2.
The Tigers went 1-1 in their final week of regular season play. The win came over a No. 17 ranked Southern Nazarene squad by a score of 2-0 in Hays. SNU remains No. 17 in this edition of the poll and is the GAC/MIAA Tournament host this week. FHSU is set to play No. 25 ranked Rogers State in one of the semifinal matches on Friday (Nov. 10) at 4 p.m.
Thursday marks the second time FHSU meets a ranked Rogers State team this season. The Hillcats held a No. 22 ranking when the teams met in Hays during the regular season. Rogers State won both regular season matches between the teams.
