
Ronald Ray Pfenninger, 71, passed away December 11, 2020, at KU Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.
He was born July 18, 1949, in Great Bend; the son of Chester H. and Ella M. Crosson Pfenninger. A lifetime area resident; he was a farmer/stockman.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Rozel, where he held many offices, the Pawnee Watershed, the State Association of Kansas Watershed, Walnut City Lodge #215, Fort Hays Shrine Club and the Lincoln Township board.
On May 23, 1971, he married Linda Benda in Gem, KS. She survives.
Other survivors include: daughter, Becky Rae Pfenninger, Liberal and Scott Douglas (Amanda) Pfenninger, Derby and two grandchildren, Liam and Owen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rodney Gay Pfenninger.
Private family service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with Tom Beckwith presiding. Service will be viewable via facebook live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. A public graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Larned Cemetery, Larned with Masonic graveside rites provided by Walnut City Lodge #215.
