THOMAS COUNTY —Four teen were injured in an accident just before 5:30p.m. Thursday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford Mustang driven by Gage S. Odell, 16, Colby, was eastbound on Willow Avenue just west of Country Club Drive.
The driver lost control of the car as he attempted to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed. The car exited the roadway to the right and rolled into the north ditch.
EMS transported Odell and passengers Jesse J. Coon, 16, Jacob W. Edmondson, 16 and Elye V.Sanders, 17, all of Colby to Citizens Medical Center.
Edmondson and Sanders were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
