HAYS - The Hays High Indian wrestling team won the Bob Kuhn Prairie Classic by 33 points over Manhattan. The Indians scored 153.5 team points, Manhattan finished with 120.5. Kapaun finished in third with 116.5.
The Indians had three individual champions. At 132 pounds Harley Zimmerman won with a 9-2 decision. He pinned his two opponents on Friday and is 30-1 on the year.

Gavin Meyers and Gavin Nutting each pinned their three opponents in the two day tournament.

Meyers at 220 pounds recorded falls in :48, :58, and 3:02 and moves to 26-0 on the year.

Nutting in the 285 pound bracket defeated his opponents in 1:03, 1:12 and 1:00. He improves to 31-0 this season.

Zimmerman, Meyers, and Nutting are all ranked in their respective weight classes.

Elijah McCullough was 3-1 and won two of his matches by fall and the other in an 8-3 decision.

Tacoma Augustine was 4-2 for a 4th place finish. Braden Hines finished 6th.
