PLAINVILLE ā Restoration Health & Chiropractic in Plainville has expanded to the previous Phillipsburg and Stockton Chiropractic Centers.
The Chiropractic Centers was purchased by Dr. Shelbe Darnell in April. All three locations will be Restoration Health & Chiropractic.
For the past two years, Darnell has practiced chiropractic with a specific emphasis on muscle work in Plainville. Darnell grew up in Plainville, Kansas. She was a multi-sport athlete and went on to play volleyball and participate in indoor track at Pratt Community College. Darnell has dreamed of being a chiropractor since the beginning of high school due to her own fantastic results with chiropractic care. This dream led her to take on extra coursework in order to fast track her way to chiropractic school.
While in school, Darnell married her husband who she met in high school. They have three dogs ā two German Shepherds and a Cairn Terrier/Poodle. Dr. Darnell and her husband welcomed their son, Theodore, in December of 2018, and shortly after moved back to Plainville to be closer to family. In July of 2020 they welcomed their daughter, Veronica. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going on walks, and going to the lake.
The previous owner of The Chiropractic Centers, Dr. Staten, and Dr. Darnell graduated from the same chiropractic school, so the majority of the techniques and care plans will remain nearly the same as they have been. All patients not seen by Dr. Darnell will get a fresh set of eyes on their history, current pain relief needs, and treatment plans.
Dr. Shelbe is officially treating patients in all locations. Hours are Monday 8AM to 2 PM in Stockton. Tuesday 10 AM to 2 PM in Phillipsburg and 3 PM to 6 PM in Stockton. Wednesday is by appointment only in Plainville. Thursday 7 AM to 9 AM in Stockton and 10 AM to 2 PM in Phillipsburg. Friday 8 AM to 2 PM in Stockton.
