The Hays Storm team started its spring season off battling for the championship in the Sporting Next Gen Invitational last weekend in Olathe. The girls ended their first and third games with ties and lost the second game by one goal. After ending the championship game with a 1-1 score, they battled it out with penalty kicks. Hays Storm fell short and ended the tournament with the finalist title. Proud of this group of girls and how they never give up. The next tournament will be in Wichita at the Air Capital Cup on April 15 and 16.
Founded in 2000, the Hays Soccer Club is organized as an educational and charitable organization to advance and foster the game of soccer among players under the age of nineteen years, as well as to promote sportsmanship and the development of individual soccer players to the highest level of his/her ability.
