Ellis County Environmental Services
With the expected rainfall this evening and overnight, the Ellis County Environmental Services office is anticipating that the Construction & Demolition pit, dirt pile, and Tree pile at the landfill will be closed, at least temporarily, on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024, due to muddy conditions.
An official decision will be made by 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning. We would ask that you plan accordingly in advance of this possibility.
Municipal Waste will remain open, the gates will be closed at 4:45 p.m., and no dumping will be allowed after that time.
