
Ramona “Mony” Ann (Bieker) Stupka passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Citizens Medical Center in Colby.
She was born September 13, 1939, to Theodore and Leona (Billinger)
Bieker in WaKeeney, Kansas. She grew up in Victoria and Colby and
attended Colby High School. Throughout her school years, Mony enjoyed
cheerleading and serving her friends and the community while working at
the drug store and Rainbow Drive-Inn.
On February 17, 1958, she married Louis Ernest “Sonny” Stupka at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church in Colby. The couple had two sons, Dustan and Tab
and a daughter, Melinda.
Throughout her life, Mony held many positions, but none fulfilled her as
much as her fifteen years driving school bus for USD 315. Along with
her husband Sonny, Mony enjoyed horses, trail rides, camping and
spending time with her grandchildren. As time passed, Mony would often
find herself on social media analyzing current events while proudly
admiring and enjoying the events of her children, grandchildren, other
family and friends.
Ramona is proceeded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Sonny;
her son, Tab and two brothers, Chris and Vernon Bieker.
Survivors include daughter Melinda and husband Lindle Harold and
grandson Kyle (Christina and Teghan Rosendahl) of Colby; son Dustan and
wife Kylie Stupka and grandsons Brigdon, Brock and Brandt of Andover;
sisters Peggy (Ron) Young and Maybelle Moore; brother Robert (Lori)
Beiker; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Mass will take place on December 4, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby. Burial will be at Sacred Heart
Cemetery. Honorary Pall Bearers are Bridgon, Brock and Brandt Stupka and
Kyle Harold. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
