๐Ÿ€ Quick start carries Tiger women past Northeastern State

HAYS, Kan. - The Fort Hays State women's basketball team scored the first 11 points and never looked back, defeating Northeastern State  80-60 Friday evening at Gross Coliseum. The win is FHSU's third-straight by 20 or more points.

The Tigers hit a season-high 53.3 percent from the floor (32-of-60) while limiting the RiverHawks to a 36.8 percent shooting (21-of-57).

Jaden Hobbs  led the Tigers with 20 points, six assists, three rebounds and three steals. Whitney Randall added 18 points and Cydney Bergmann added 15 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.

The Tigers will be back in action Sunday (Dec. 20) inside Gross Memorial Coliseum when they wrap up 2020 against Rogers State. First tip is set for 2 p.m.
