GREENSBORO, N.C. – Fort Hays State baseball is ranked No. 27 in the latest ABCA Top 30 Poll, released on Tuesday. The Tigers are coming off a 2-1 week, which included a win in their only MIAA contest against Washburn and a split with UC-Colorado Springs. FHSU is 23-9 overall and 17-4 in the MIAA.
The Tigers continue to lead the MIAA standings by a game over Central Missouri, which checks in at No. 3 in the rankings this week. The Mules are 25-8 overall and 16-5 in the MIAA. Central Oklahoma (28-8, 18-6 MIAA) and Pittsburg State (26-7, 15-7 MIAA) are receiving votes in the poll.
Fort Hays State goes on the road this week on Wednesday (Apr. 9) for a mid-week conference contest at Emporia State before returning home to host Northeastern State in a three-game series Friday through Sunday.
