It was a wet weekend with a total of 1.23 inches of rain falling in Hays, according to the official measurements at the K-State Agricultural Research Center south of town.
Daily rainfall was:
Friday-0.88"
Saturday-0.30"
Sunday-0.05"
It was the first moisture in February.
So far this year, Hays has received 2.44 inches of moisture, more than an inch above normal. The average moisture by the end of the month is 1.19 inches.
