THOMAS COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 GMC Sierra driven by Yosvany Jorge Reguera Rodriguez, 40, Hialeah, Florida, was westbound in the right lane on Interstate 70 two miles west of U.S. 83.
A semi passed the pickup. The pickup lost traction, left the roadway to the right and rolled onto its top.
EMS transported a passenger Rafael Gonzalez, 43, Houston, Texas, to the Logan County Hospital. Reguera Rodriguez and a second passenger were not injured. The passengers were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
