Hays Convention and Visitors Bureau
The Hays Convention and Visitors Bureau received a first place Marketing Award for Digital/Online Media at last week’s Kansas Tourism Conference in Manhattan, KS.
The Marketing Awards are presented at the Kansas Tourism Conference each year by the Travel Industry Association of Kansas (TIAK) to honor the most creative and effective tourism marketing efforts across the state. Open exclusively to TIAK members, the awards recognize outstanding campaigns that promote destinations, events, and attractions in impactful ways.
The Hays CVB won for its dynamic e-newsletter, designed by Marketing Manager, Kyrsten Feik. The e-newsletter is sent out via email to over 4,450 recipients that include both locals and visitors.
The monthly communication focuses on upcoming events and activities happening in Hays, presented with eye-catching graphics and colorful photos. Anyone may sign up for the e-newsletter by going to the CVB’s website VisitHays.com, clicking on “About Us,” then “E-newsletter Sign Up.”
