The Bricks in Downtown, Hays
On behalf of the Board of Directors of The Bricks in Downtown Hays, I would like to share that Lee Ann June, our executive director, has submitted her resignation and will be stepping down from her role, effective Nov. 13.
Since joining the organization in July 2025, Lee Ann has been an energetic champion for Downtown Hays. We are grateful for the enthusiasm, time and effort she has devoted to The Bricks and our downtown community and wish her all the best.
Looking ahead, the board remains committed to the mission of The Bricks and to the relationships that support downtown Hays. We have assigned interim coverage for key responsibilities to support day-to-day operations and have coordinated with event leaders and partners to prepare for the upcoming Christmas season.
The Bricks will proceed with all Christmas Magic on Main events as scheduled, including the Jubilee, Clydesdale rides, Frostfest parade, and Christmas movie opportunities. Event details and updates are available on The Bricks in Downtown Hays Facebook page and individual Facebook event pages. We invite residents and visitors to join us downtown to shop, dine and enjoy the festivities.
We appreciate the businesses, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners whose time and dedication make these events possible. Thank you for your continued support of Downtown Hays and for your grace and support during this transition.
