Norbert L. Burkhart

Norbert L. Burkhart, 88, passed away April 15, 2021, at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.

He was born May 28, 1932, in Spearville, the son of Jerome Fred and Agnes Marie Stegman Burkhart.  A lifetime area resident, he was a Farmer/Rancher.

He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Hanston where he served as an elder.  He was a lifetime VFW member and belonged to the Gideons International.  He also served in the United States Army in Korea

On June 6, 1953, he married Darlene Hubin in Hanston.  She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Dave (Tami) Burkhart, Burdett, Barry (Jo Lynn) Burkhart, Bison; daughter, Connie (Kevin) White, Medicine Lodge; brother, Jerald (Pat) Burkhart, Port Orange, FL; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Billy Dean Burkhart and a sister, Delores Elaine Burkhart.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2021 at Faith Fellowship Church, Hanston, with Pastor Doug Ellison presiding. Service will be viewable via facebook live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore.  Burial will be in the Hanston Cemetery, Hanston with military graveside rites.
