Roy Allen Pfaff, 82, passed away on September 13, 2024 at his home in McCracken, Kansas. &nbsp;He was born on January 11, 1942 in McCracken, Kansas the son of John and Silvina (Hammerschmidt) Pfaff.

Roy was a farmer and rancher. He enjoyed his cows and chickens. &nbsp;He married Frances Kay Raskopf on October 4, 1961, in LaCrosse, Kansas. &nbsp;

Survivors include his wife, Frances Kay Pfaff of McCracken; 2 daughters, Susan (Joe) Gabel of LaCrosse, Jennifer Strickler of Ransom; brother, Bennie (Cindy) Boley; 4 sisters, Eileen Backstrom, Betty Miller, Laura Morgan, Becky Kinyon; 5 grandchildren, Caitlin Gabel, Jessica (Marshall) Broberg, Jenna Strickler, Alana Strickler, Rebecca Strickler; and 3 great-grandchildren, Evelyn Broberg, Mya Broberg, and Archer Savage. &nbsp;He was preceded in death by two children Kimberly Alice Pfaff and Roy Allen Pfaff Jr., his parents; brothers, Ralph, Leon, Walter, Glen Pfaff; sisters Lucille Pfaff, Hazel Opal, Mary Mask and Nancy Pfaff.&nbsp;

A memorial service will be held at a later time.&nbsp;

Memorial contributions may be given to the Ness County EMS.
