Scott Eric Tuttle, age 70, of Hays, Kansas passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Redbud Village in Plainville, Kansas. He was born July 25, 1955 in Quinter, Kansas to Delbert and Martha (Carlson) Tuttle.
Scott graduated from Quinter High School in 1973 and then attended Barber school in Wichita. On August 9, 1975 he married Tina Ochs. Together they had three children, Erica, Justin and Austin. They were later divorced.
Scott was a long-time barber working at Esquire and A Cut Above in Hays and also worked as a beauty supply salesman. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his sons. He was also a Chiefs and Royals fan, as well as a KU Basketball and Nebraska Football fan. Scott was also a member of the Hays Kiwanis.
He is survived by his children, Erica Tuttle and Travis Rupp of Hays, Justin Tuttle and wife Diana of Tustin, California, and Austin Tuttle and Miranda Paradis of Lakewood, Colorado; a brother, J. Sheldon Tuttle of Kansas City; grandchildren, Rylie Stout and husband Dalton, Brynlee, Emerie, Bennett, Laynie, Nathan, and Jordan; and great grandchildren, Boston and Hayden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dennis Tuttle and a sister, Melissa Riegel.
