THOMAS COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Monday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by Katherine Kufahl, 61, Colby, was westbound on Plum street at N Mission Ridge Avenue in Colby.
The Nissan struck a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Shawna Petersen, 39, Colby in the intersection.
EMS transported both drivers to Citizens Medical Center. Kufahl was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
