The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported 32 new COVID-19 cases in Ellis County had been identified since Monday.
There have been 248 new COVID-19 cases identified in Ellis County after a lull in cases dwindled to near zero in June.

As of Tuesday, the University of Kansas Health System reported 12 COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed.
Since reporting began, there have been 4,052 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 74 coronavirus-related deaths.
