HODGEMAN COUNTY—Two. people were injured in an accident just after 1p.m. Monday in Hodgeman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Peterbilt semi driven by Beaty, Daymon J. Beaty, 23, Cleveland, Texas, was eastbound on Kansas 156 three miles east of the U.S. 283 Junction.
The driver failed to maintain the single lane of traffic. The passenger side of semi dropped off the southside of the roadway. The vehicle entered the south ditch and rolled over onto the passenger side.
EMS transported a Beaty and a passenge Tiffany A. Raley, 48, Cleveland, Texas, to the hospital in Kinsley. Both were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
