Hays received another 1.08 inches of rain on Thursday, according to the K-State Ag Research Farm.
The Eagle Media Center at 2300 Hall received 1.2 inches of rain.
Hays has received 6.59 inches of rain in June and 12.70 inches of precipitation this year.
Hays averages 3.38 inches of rain in June and 11.31 inches of precipitation by the end of June.
The forecast calls for skies being cloudy this morning with clearing skies and a high of 79 this afternoon.
The heat returns this weekend with clear skies and a high of 94 on Saturday and 99 on Sunday.
A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Monday and Tuesday night.
