
On Tuesday, July 28th, 2020, Alan DeWitt Beougher stepped into the
presence of the Lord at the age of 74. Alan was born on January 19th,
1946 at the family farm South of Oakley, Ks to Charles DeWitt and Edna
Faye (Gibson) Beougher.
He married the love of his life, Sharon Lorraine Cameron, on June 14th,
1964, in Colby KS, at the United Methodist Church. Together they were
blessed with five children, Mark Alan and Stephanie Diane, who passed
shortly after birth, two sons Joel Andrew II, James Jay, and daughter
Monica Ranée.
Alan spent his life on the farm that he thoroughly loved. He was an
avid hunter and fisherman who was most at home taking care of his cows,
working on the farm, and being outdoors. Spending time with his wife of
56 years, kids, grandkids, and many friends was his greatest joy.
Everyone who knew Alan enjoyed his teasing and ornery sense of humor.
He always had a smile, laugh, and encouraging words for everyone. Alan
shared his love for the Lord every day in thought, word, and deed.
He was preceded in death by two children Mark and Stephanie Beougher, his parents and sister.
He is survived by his wife Sharon L, of the home.; children, Joel
Beougher and wife Sharon E, of Hays KS, Monica Mader and husband Justin,
of Burlington KS and James Beougher and friend Joni Godenir, both of
Stockton KS and grandchildren, Stephanie, Brett, and Christine Beougher,
Levi and Mary Mader and Payton Beougher and Fiancé Colton Derr.
Alan was buried in the Gaeland Cemetery, Orion, KS. Memorial Service is
2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the United Christian Church, 219
Center Ave, Oakley, KS. The family requests Blue jeans, camo or casual
