🏀 HHS' Schmeidler earns Sports in Kansas Top 5 Honors

Hays Post Sports

Hays High sophomore Jenna Schmeidler was among six players named this week to the 2026 Sports in Kansas Girls Top 5 basketball team.

Schmeidler, who helped the Indians to a 5A runner-up finish, was joined on the Top 5 team by:
Eve Long, Olathe South, 6’3”, Jr.
Jakayla Davis, Colgan, 5’6”, Sr.
Kaylin Hanni, Silver Lake, 5’7”, Sr.
Arika Feldman, Little River, 6’2”, Sr.
Asia Lee, Olathe North, 5’10”, Sr.

There were six players named to the Top 5 due to a tie in voting.

Hanni and Feldman have signed to play basketball at Fort Hays State next season.
