Larry David Newberry, 67, of Hays, Kansas, passed away Sunday November 27, 2022, at the Kearny County Hospital in Lakin, Kansas. He was born March 28, 1955, in Garden City, Kansas the son of Fred H. Newberry II and Billie J. (Cunningham) Newberry.

Larry grew up in the Garden City area where he attended several schools and graduated from Garden City High School. He worked several jobs in Garden City. He then went on to Fort Hays State University, after a year he met Deanna Jean Libby. Deanna’s roommate at the time invited Larry over to fix her tape player.
