HAYS, Kan. – Persistent lightning from thunderstorms in the Hays area ultimately caused the postponement of the 2024 FHSU Football season opener at Lewis Field Stadium. The game between Fort Hays State and Angelo State will now be played at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Lewis Field Stadium.

Admission will be free to the public for the exciting matchup on Friday, though ticket holders will still have rights to the seats they purchased. Live stream on The MIAA Network, along with <a href="https://mix103fm.com/">live radio</a>, and stats coverage will still be available.&nbsp;&nbsp;
