
Kurt H. Rall, former resident of Hoxie, Kansas and Euless, Texas, quietly passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 94 at the Arlington Residence and Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, Texas.
Kurt was born in Rexford, Kansas, to William and Louise (Gaede) Rall. He graduated from Sheridan Community High School with the Class of 1950. Following graduation, he honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
On August 26, 1961, Kurt married Wanda Davis at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hoxie, Kansas. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and farming. They were blessed with three children: Diana, Curtis, and Danny.
A lifelong farmer, Kurt was deeply dedicated to working the land. He was known for his unwavering work ethic, quiet strength, and profound love for his family. In his later years, Kurt moved to Euless, Texas, where he lived with his son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Kelly Rall. He found joy in their companionship and care.
Kurt is survived by his daughter, Diana Gawlik; son, Curtis Rall and wife Kelly of Euless, Texas; son Danny Rall; brother, Gaehart Rall; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He cherished time spent with his family and leaves behind a legacy of love, humility, and resilience.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Louise Rall; his sisters, Louise Withers, Wilma Steier, Mary Owens, Helen Rall, Rosie O’Connell, and Leona Boor; and his brothers, Ted Rall, Wilfred 'Bob' Rall, Erwin Rall, William 'Bill' Rall Jr, Larenz Rall, and Elmer E. Rall.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home in Hoxie, Kansas. Interment will follow immediately at Hoxie City Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with the family present from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM to greet friends at the funeral home.
