HESSTON – TMP-Marian’s Jackson Schulte shot an 80 in his final round at the 3A State Golf Tournament at the Hesston Municipal Golf Course and finished in a tie for 18th place. The Monarch senior shot an 84 on the first day and finished with a 22-over-par, 164.
Monarch sophomore Landon Rozean also closed with an 80 and tied for 25th
at 25-over. Phillipsburg’s Ty Sides closed with a 4-under 78 and tied for 10th 18-over-par.
Lucas Scheufler of Wichita-Trinity Academy shot a 68 on Monday and 69 on Tueday
and won the 3A title at 5-under, five strokes better than Marysville’s Jackson
Rader.
Sante Fe Trail won the 3A team title with a 639, 14 strokes better then Cheney.
Cimarron finished is sixth place.
