The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Friday reported just one new case of COVID-19 had been identified in Ellis County since Wednesday.

As of Friday, the University of Kansas Health System reported four COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed, two active and two recovering.

Since reporting began, there have been 3,726 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 73 coronavirus-related deaths.
