The TMP-Marian Monarchs had nine players named to 15 spots on the All-Mid-Continent League teams over the weekend.
Of the 15 players honored by the league coaches, six were named to the first team.
They were running back Jackson Gillespie, wide receivers Grant Nehls and Jacob Seib on offense. Nehls was a unanimous selection.
Gillespie finished with 697 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on the season. Nehls hauled in 22 passes for 550 yards and six touchdowns and Seib had 21 catches for 279 yards and three touchdowns.
On defense, Seib was also a unanimous first-team pick at defensive back, and Nehls was named to the first team as a defensive lineman.
Seib was the Monarchs top corner and finished with 18 tackles and one interception, a pick-6.
Nehls collected a team-high 72 tackles, 15 for loss, with nine sacks and an interception.
Carson Liles was named first-team kicker.
He was three-for-four on field goals and a perfect 24-of-24 on extra points.
Liles was a second-team selection at quarterback and was joined on the second team by fellow Monarchs, Isaac Purinton at wide receiver and offensive linemen Brayden Gilmore and Kenneth Walker.
Gillespie was a second-team pick at linebacker along with Caden Dinkel, defensive back Nash Dreiling and defensive linemen Gilmore and Walker.
