NEW ORLEANS - The Fort Hays State men's and women's track and field teams are both listed in the top 25 of this week's USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Indoor National Rating Index, released Tuesday (Feb. 23). The women are ranked 23rd again this week with 29.43 points, while the men are slotted 25th with 28.75 points.

The men have 13 marks ranked in the top 30 nationally, including two new or improved marks this week. Ethan Lang ran a personal-best 1:54.71 in the 800m run, a time that converts to 1:52.22 due to track size and ranked 23rd in the country. Mark Faber cleared a personal-best 15-9.25 in the pole vault, climbing to 25th on the national performance chart.

Both teams held steady in the latest central region rankings, with the men coming in at No. 8 and the women sitting at No. 9.
