Norton resident Steven Gibson passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at the St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 64.
He was born January 3, 1958, in Denver, CO the son of Joseph and Reta Lee (Douglass) Gibson.
Steven was united in marriage to Ellen Ayers on June 16, 1989, in Austin, TX. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his mother Reta Griffin of Phillipsburg; son Duane A. Edington and wife Candis of Warrensburg, MO; a daughter Tanya M. Gottschalk of Logan, KS; brothers Douglas Gibson and wife Colleen of Greenville, TN and Bob Gibson and wife Linda of Kensington, KS; a sister Debra Obermiller and husband Gary of Arapahoe, NE; and 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending with Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
