🥎 Monarchs cruise past Pratt Skyline

HAYS – The TMP-Marian softball team stayed unbeaten Tuesday, rolling to a pair of 15-0 run-rule victories over Pratt Skyline at home. The Monarchs have now allowed just one run in their last five games and improved to 14-0 on the season.

TMP-Marian travels to Concordia for a doubleheader on Friday.

The Monarchs scored four runs in both the second and third innings, then ended the game early with a seven-run fourth.

Brynn Rebel and Addison Watson each collected three hits, while Hannah Rose drove in three runs.

TMP racked up 12 hits, eight of which went for extra bases. Adi Gottschalk, Watson, Rebel and Raegan Allen all doubled. Watson, Brynn Schoepf and Rose tripled, and Bria Windholz blasted a home run.

In the circle, Rebel was dominant, tossing a four-inning no-hitter with six strikeouts and no walks.

TMP-Marian wasted no time in the nightcap, scoring seven runs in both the first and second innings before adding one more in the third to end the game by run rule.

Rebel again led the offense, collecting three of the Monarchs’ six hits. She singled in the first inning, then added a double and a single in the second.
