Tyrone Lee Looney, age 54 of Dodge City, Kansas passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, in Norton, Kansas. He was born April 30, 1967, in Dodge City to Ben Looney and Mary Lou Clanton.
Tyrone had worked as a welder. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan and he enjoyed having pet dogs.
He is survived by his parents, Mary Lou and Ron Conner of Dodge City; a brother, Dallas Looney and wife Jeaneice of Holyrood, Kansas; two sisters, Melisa Lyons and husband Jeremy of Dallas, Texas and Shawna LaBarge and husband Justin of Springfield, Missouri: step brother, Robert Conner and wife Randi of Broadway, Virginia; a step sister, Lisa Collamore and husband Vance of Scott City, Kansas; and his companion, Kara Schmitt of Lawrence, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Looney and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Living Waters Pentecostal Holiness Church 302 E. Vine, Dodge City.
Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
