Terry Rogers, age 45, of Victoria, Kansas, died Monday, December 7, 2020, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. He was born December 23, 1974, in Newton, Kansas to Gary L. and Kathleen Kay (Weigert) Rogers. He married Bobbie J. (Harsha) on December 23, 2006, at Colby, Kansas.
He was a welder by trade and also restores cars with his father. He was a veteran of the U S Navy grew up in Newton, and attended Newton High School. Terry lived in Plainville and Salina before moving to Victoria.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Rogers, of the home; six children, Magen Rogers, Jessica Rogers, Nathan Rogers, all of Salina, KS; Travis Rogers and wife, Cortney, TX; Jared Levi and wife, Stephanie, WV; Brittany Houser, Wichita, KS; three step children, Kristine Schmidt, Keith Schmidt, Devon Schmidt and wife, Brooke, all of Salina, Ks; his father, Gary L. Rogers, Victoria, KS; one brother, Rick Rogers and wife, Christy, Newton, KS; one sister, Diane Tripp-Rogers, Salina, KS; one step brother, Scott McAbee and wife Kelly, MN; one step sister, Jenny Adams, NC; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and his step mother, Miriam E. Rogers.
Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary, Victoria, Kansas. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date
The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary, Victoria, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Rogers family in care of Bobbie Rogers.
