WICHITA - Hays High's volleyball season came to a close with a loss in the opening round of Kapuan Mt. Carmel sub-state on Saturday. The fifth-seeded Indians lost 25-22, 26-24 to Salina South.
It was the Indians second loss of the season to the Cougars (21-17) lsot to to the host Crusaders 26-24, 25-10 in the finals.
Hays ends their season with a 25-11 record.
