The National Weather Service is warning of possible thunderstorms across western Kansas beginning Sunday afternoon through Tuesday night.
The NWS reported there is a 10 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms after 5 p.m. Sunday. Overnight, there is a 70 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms.
The chance of rain or storms returns Monday evening, with a 40 percent to 70 percent chance, continuing into Tuesday afternoon.
There is a chance of large hail and damaging winds, the NWS, noting an isolated tornado could not be ruled out. Two-inch hail and wind gusts of up to 75 mph are possible.
After a partly sunny Wednesday, chances of more rain return early Thursday morning.
