
The Kansas Geological Survey reported five earthquakes in northwest Kansas since Wednesday.
The largest was a 3.0-magnitude quake in western Rooks County just after 5 a.m. Wednesday. Just after 3:30 a.m. Thursday, a 2.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded in northeast Trego County.
Between midnight Thursday and midnight Friday, three additional quakes between 2.2- and 2.4-magnitude were recorded — two in Osborne County and one on the Rooks/Osbourne county line.
