The Ellis County Health Department on Friday reported there have been ten new positive cases of coronavirus reported in the county since Wednesday.
The department is working to identify close contacts, who will be contacted and asked to self-quarantine.
The new positive cases have mild symptoms and are in home isolation.
There have now been 45 total cases of COVID-19 since reporting began.
