Ellis Police Department February 2025 Activity Report

For the month of February 2025, the Ellis Police Department responded to 95 calls for service, conducted 57 traffic stops, and issued 3 traffic citations. 1 out of the 3 citations were due to speeding. The alleged speed was 9 miles per over the limit. The other citations were issued due to either suspended driving privileges, no driver’s license, or expired registrations and insurance.

The Ellis Police Department also conducted several felony and misdemeanor investigations, resulting in 3 adult arrests.

The following adults were arrested in February by the Ellis Police Department:

On 02/04/2025, Alfred Walls was arrested on suspicion of Felony Theft. He was booked into the Ellis County Jail.

On 02/04/2025, Guadalupe Walls was arrested on suspicion of Felony Theft. She was booked into the Ellis County Jail.

On 02/08/2025, Corinne Karlin was arrested on suspicion of Domestic Battery and Criminal Restraint. She was booked into the Ellis County Jail.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
