McPHERSON - After dropping their opening match 2-0 to Salina South on Monday, the Hays High girls' soccer team knocked off Wichita Collegiate 8-0 Tuesday afternoon.

Kinslee Newell scores a pair of goals in the eighth and 18th minute, her cousin Annie Humprey added a pair of goals in the 53rd and 54 minute. The Indians also had goals from Carla Luna in the 24th minute, Peyton Willeford the 28th minute, Kori Roe the 35th minute and Karlee Crispin the 46th minute.

The Indians (1-2) will face Topeka High in the fifth place match Friday at 3:00 p.m. Topeka defeated Newton 2-1 Tuesday.
