Bruce Alan Blount, 65, passed away November 27, 2019, in Elk Grove, Illinois.

He was born March 19, 1956, in Laughlin, Texas; the son of Wayne 
Rogers and Jean Kemp Blount.&nbsp; He served in the United States Navy for 
over 20 years, retiring in 2004.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles and taught motorcycle safety courses in
 Maryland; was an avid bass guitar player and was a big Jayhawk fan.

Survivors include; his mother, Jean Blount, Parker, Colorado; a 
daughter, Anastasia (Jett) Meenach, Hampstead, North Carolina; a sister,
 Lisa (Scott) Spjuth, Parker, Colorado and two grandchildren, JJ Meenach
 and AubreyKate Meenach.

Memorial graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. October 11, at Larned Cemetery with Robert Sallee presiding.
