
Diane Marie Glauser was born on January 23, 1956 in Beloit, Kansas, the daughter of George and Anita Brummer Eilert. She died Monday, March 14, 2022 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit at the age of 66.
She grew up on the family farm south of Beloit, where she attended country school. Her family moved into Beloit, where she attended St. John’s before graduating from Beloit High School in 1974. Following graduation, she worked as a nurse’s aid at Hilltop Lodge and Long Term Care for many years.
On February 20, 1982, she was united in marriage with Larry Glauser. Two children, Kristen and Justin were born to this union.
She greatly enjoyed being outdoors, either helping on the farm, mowing, or planting her flowers. She also loved her family, and was affectionately known as Mimo or Mamo to her grandkids.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Debbie Wilcox.
She is survived by her husband, Larry of the home; daughter, Kristen and husband Matt Chaput of Assaria; son, Justin and wife Brittney of Glen Elder; five grandchildren, Emma, Ella, and Easton Chaput, and Jacee and Kane Glauser; siblings, Kathy (Dave) Scott of Glen Elder, Marlene Jaso of Louisville, KY, Darlene Fischer of Gardner, KS, Sondra (John) Richardson of Belleville, Mary (John) Quinley of Salina, Joan (Bill) Meysenburg of Salina, Tim (Betty) Eilert of Beloit, Henry (Betty) Eilert of Concordia, Gary (Susan) Eilert of Beloit, Karen (Brad) Kesl of Hays, and Donna (Scott) Remus of Glen Elder; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday, March 19, at the St. John's Catholic Church in Beloit followed by burial in Athens Cemetery north of Glen Elder. A rosary service will be at 6 PM, and visitation will be from 1 PM until the rosary service begins on Friday at the Roberts Family Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to St. John's Catholic Church.
